KARE, held monthly on Monday’s at the Mildred Lane Kemper Art Museum at Washington University, welcomed folks from Memory Care unit at Laclede Groves on Monday February 3. This was a return visit for them. What a great time we had!!! Much to explore and learn about…thanks to Allison Fricke…the sounds a spinet makes, the ermine animal and how it was fashioned into extremely fancy clothing. Of course, we looked at Max Beckmann and our guests made art of their own to take back to their home. Laclede Groves is a member of the Lutheran Senior Services (www.lssliving.org) family. And we were so very happy that they came back for another time with us. Pictured below are Katie and Zija from Laclede Groves administration. Many thanks ladies. Please come back anytime.
