Today was the day for the Spring Silver Stages Series finale. We had a wonderful crowd! We were welcomed by the Missouri History Museum President, Dr. Francine Levine. All so enjoyed the film, “From Jim Crow to Barack Obama” and loved participating in the Q&A with Producer, Director, and Writer Denise-Ward Brown. (Hey how can one little lady do so many things and do them so swell?) While Denise fielded many of the questions and comments herself, she so frequently demurred to let the film’s stars chime in. WoW. Such was the interest that our planned 10:30-11:30 AM event ran on until after 1:00 PM. Below are a couple of photos from this special day. Be sure to watch this space for my announcement of our fall series. (But mark your calendars now…the first will be Wednesday, September 3 @10:30 am. Unless, elsewise mentioned, all Stages events will take place on the first Wednesday morning of the month; September – December.
