Shir Ami Performs Wednesday September 30 @10:30

Yes, it’s The Silver Stages “Mature St. Louis Performers for Mature St. Louis Audiences” at The Missouri History Museum, E. Desmond Lee Auditorium, in beautiful Forest Park. Doors open at 10:00am and the performance begins at 10:30am.

We invite you to come share the joy that is Shir Ami:(Please note, that there is no charge for attending. The auditorium is handicapped accessible.)

Shir Ami (“Song of My People”) performs Israeli, Yiddish, Ladino and American-Jewish.  The troupe of six includes singers, guitar, mandolin, accordion and drum.  For more than 40 years, Shir Ami, which celebrates Jewish folk music, has performed for international festivals, private functions and community organizations in St. Louis and the Midwest.

Members are Jan Fishman, Amy Gage, Carol Kaplan-Lyss, Michael Lyss, Judy Medoff and Elaine Unell.
