Join Me on @MoArtsCouncil Conference Call Creative Aging Programs

The Missouri Arts Council has invited me to discuss: “best practices for Creative Aging Programs,” Tuesday, July 12 from 1:30-3:00pm. For those that I have not yet met, this is what Ginny Sanders posted as a lead in ”

For the past eight years, Lynn has been devoted to enhancing the lives of seniors through the arts. As President and founder of the not profit, Maturity and Muse, she has orchestrated dozens of community events, created three major exhibits, and oversees eight ongoing programs for older adults, with an emphasis on programs for those needing memory care. Lynn established KARE, the first Alzheimer’s and arts program in our area that encourages connections through visual arts to stimulate memory. In May 2016, she is hosting Celebrating Art for Senior Engagement, the first community wide festival, featuring 80+ events at various venues, to introduce our growing senior population to 50+ area arts organizations.”

If you would like to participate (reservations requested) in this dial in conference call, please email Virginia Sanders virginia.sanders@ded.mo.gov or call her (314)-340-6851. I understand that there are a couple of places remain.

Hope to “see” you  Tuesday!
