This is interesting timing as at this very same time, in 2009, Joel was the keynote speaker for the Friedman Lecture at the Harvey A. Friedman Center for Aging, Washington University in St. Louis. Our topic that year was Creativity in Aging. This year’s Annual Friedman Lecture will be held Thursday, May 8 at 9am in Brown 100, on the Washington University in St. Louis’ Danforth Campus. If you are in the neighborhood, you are invited (at no charge) to come hear Robyn Stone, noted researcher and leading international authority on aging and long-term care policy, deliver the 2014 Friedman Lecture. Her topic will be “Developing the Workforce for an Aging America.”
