Friedman Center for Aging Awards Given

The 14th Annual Friedman Lecture & Awards took place this morning. Robyn Stone, our keynote speaker, challenged one and all to find ways to develop a workforce that will be qualified to ably care for our aging society. Two young persons who, through their work, research, and care at the Charles F. and Joanne Knight Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC) were honored with the prestigious Friedman Award. Pictured below with me and Nancy Morrow-Howell, the Harvey A. Friedman Center for Aging Director, are Jennifer K. Phillips and Myrtis Elizabeth Smith Spencer. Please log on to the CFA website to learn more about them and their careers. http://publichealth.wustl.edu/initiatives/CFA/Pages/default.aspx
