Community Day@Kemper Art Museum Tomorrow

This is a wonderful tradition…Community Day…stop by if you are in the neighborhood and, if not by happenstance….I sure hope you will make it happen. See event schedule below.

Kemper Art Museum

Schedule of events:

▪ display of Hina dolls from 11a to 3p, with Q&A sessions at 11:15a and 1:45p in the Saligman Family Atrium
▪ traditional Japanese tea ceremonies at 11:30a and 1p in the Saligman Family Atrium
▪ Kamishibai (Japanese story telling) at 12p and 2p in the Kemper 104 classroom
▪ Ikebana (Japanese flower arranging) demonstration at 2:30p in the Saligman Family Atrium
▪ docent-led tours of the permanent collection at 1p, 2p, and 3p in the Bernoudy Permanent Collection Gallery
▪ free expression art-making activities and button making from 11a to 3p in the South Entrance Foyer

Admission is always free; parking is free on weekends.
Community Day is funded in part by a grant from the Women’s Society of Washington University. Activities are made possible by a partnership with the Japan America Society of St. Louis.
