And just like that, it’s over. It’s hard to believe that the fourth installment of Celebrating Art for Senior Engagement has recently come to a close. Where does the time go?

To simply say thank you for your participation in CASEfest doesn’t seem like enough. I am grateful that so many of you decided to attend the marvelous programs offered by our partners.

CASEfest would not exist without your willingness to participate.

This year, more than 60 events (from lectures to ballet to storytelling to creating sculptures) happened in 35-plus venues around St. Louis that highlighted art in some way, shape or form.

The goal of CASEfest is to enhance the lives of older adults in the region and to bring more people to come and see what our city’s arts organizations do so well.

One of the best things I heard about CASEfest this year came from an attendee who said, “Thank you for this program, I had no idea there were all these wonderful opportunities for seniors.”

That just made my day and helped me know that this festival and your involvement in this festival matters.

Your interest in the various activities of Maturity and Its Muse inspires me to continue to be involved with art and the community in so many ways.

It’s great for me to share some of the events that took place. Perhaps you will find yourself in one of these pictures…if not cheers to next year.

I look forward to continuing our friendship in 2020 for our festival’s fifth anniversary.

As always, thanks for your support. It wouldn’t be a festival without YOU!
